TweetThe funds for these scholarships are provided from a trust fund established in 1975 from the subscriptions of shareholders of the former Hutt Timber Holdings Ltd, as a memorial to the late Mr Owen Browning who was prominent in the development of the New Zealand timber industry.
A number of scholarships are awarded each year to students undertaking an MForSc or PhD in the School of Forestry.
Value:
$3,000 per annum (MForSc)
$5,000 per annum (PhD)
Tenure:
1 year (MForSc)
2 years (PhD)

Closing date: 1 November
