The Association of Schools of Accessible Bloom (ASPH), through a accommodating acceding with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), National Center for Environmental Bloom (NCEH), announces the availability of funds to abutment up to six (6) scholarships for acceptance currently advancing their doctorate degrees.

My name is Habtamu Sanbata, Im writing from Ethiopia East Africa. I have a bachelor of Science in Environmental Health obtained from The University of Jimma completed in 2006. After my graduation I have worked as HIV/AID coordinators ,Health extention and Environmental health Expert ,currently i am working in Environmental protection Authority Environmental pollution prevention and control .
During all these years of my work I have developed a very big interest in the area of HIV/AIDS prevention , Environmental pollution control and water and sanitation and areas. These areas have been of interest to me beacause they affect a human being in day to day life direcly or indirectly. I would like therefore to request your organization to assist me in identifying a scholarship where I can further my education to Masters in public health/ Masters in epidemiology or Environmental Health so that I can improve in understanding of the populations, distributions,causes of diseases, prognosis, transmission, control and more importantly their prevention. This will further assist me in gaining better skills for designing prevention interventions, designing researches that can reveal something within the populations. Our country is poor such that it is failing to mobilise resources that can send the students for further education to assis her to assist in fighting poverty and disease. Personell with better education has better analytical skills, planning skills, data interpretation skills for better contibution in the decissions for future interventions. Government is loosing a lot of money on treatment of preventable diseases which I think is due to poor planning or poor designing of prevention strategies/interventions. I believe that if your organization can assist me to find the scholarship to do masters in public health/ Epidemiology /Environmental Health I would contribute to reduce the occurence of diseases in my country either through working with the communities which I enjoy very much or joining as a college lecturer where I can drill students on how to come up with effective disease control inerventions or joining the ministry of health and assist government in planning and designing of strategies for disease prevention.
