Pameran ini diadakan langsung oleh Kementerian Pendidikan Taiwan dan dihadiri langsung oleh lebih dari 25 universitas terbaik di Taiwan yang menyediakan program internasional baik S1, S2, S3, maupun program bahasa Mandarin, sekaligus menyediakan berbagai beasiswa yang tersedia untuk pelajar Indonesia yang ingin melanjutkan studi di Taiwan.

The Taiwan Scholarship Program

The Taiwan Scholarship Program was established jointly by three government agencies of the Republic of China (Taiwan) — the Ministry of Education (MOE), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) and the National Science Council of the Executive Yuan (NSC) — to encourage outstanding international students to undertake degree programs in Taiwan.

While providing study opportunities for a wide range of disciplines, at Taiwan’s universities and colleges, this program also aims to:

1. Promote knowledge, understanding and friendship between people in Taiwan and in countries around the world.
2. Provide opportunities to increase academic and educational links with international institutions of higher learning.
3. Develop outstanding professionals and experts to meet the needs of the global society.

The ITRI Graduate Scholarship Program offers foreign MS degree holders a comprehensive 4-year scholarship to pursue their Ph.D. in Taiwan, while joining collaborative research projects between Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) and two outstanding science and technology universities, National Chiao-Tung University (NCTU) and National Tsing-Hua University (NTHU).

Eligibility for Application

• Proof of foreign citizenship
• Proof of a Master’s degree or equivalent
• Graduate GPA of at least 3.4 or equivalent academic performance
• TOEFL (if applicable) score of 550 or above for paper -based test (213 for computer-based test).
• For the GRE comprised of Verbal, Quantitative, and Analytical sections, a total score of 1650 or above is required. For the new GRE version comprised of Verbal, Quantitative, and Analytical. Writing sections, a minimum of 400 is required on Verbal, 650 on Quantitative, and 3.5 on Analytical Writing.

• Before applying, please visit the NTHU and/or NCTU websites and then indicate in your Letter of Application which university (NTHU, NCTU or both), which specific departments, and if possible which Professors or research projects are of interest to you.
